Faith Moves Mountains

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

More and more as I journey along the road of life and the life as a believer in Jesus Christ, at different junctures we will often need a new level of faith. For unto us a measure was given, it then becomes our job to work that faith, grow the faith, and manifest from that faith.

Back in 2017 God had to put me in a place to grow my faith to believe for a vehicle after mine put me down. He had already begun to soften my heart when I was already half way through a negativity detox of my soul. He also made sure to surround me with people that would encourage that faith and help keep the fire stoked to see a manifestation of God opening opportunity when every odd was against me to obtain a new/used vehicle.

I had to grow that level of faith from the measure I was given as a believer. As time passed and that level of faith saw me through my battle with COVID and survived to talk about it, show to others God at work in my COVID battle and more. When you hit the end of a grade level and pass the test, your often sent to the next level, it will be new, it will take an even greater faith in that next level.

But, what about the grey area of passing the test and then the next grade promotion? Reflect on the lessons learned, see how you don’t just allow anyone in your ear to convince you that your choices are wrong. See how you have grown and showed strength instead of emotionalism. See how your able to stand for what you are truly worth instead of what others may see you as to keep an upper hand on you!

In the grey area, real hearts are exposed!

In the grey area agendas are revealed!

In the grey area you see that folks purposely withheld!

In the grey area you see truth and please don’t ignore it!

I have so much more to grow in as it relates to faith so that more mountains can be moved. I have of recent had ear-mites “attempt” to deter my path by saying things of “I wish you went to a mega church so you can find your husband” or “I wish you luck in what your about to do and I hope it works out”!

I stopped them in those moment and said I am going to church where I am supposed to be going. Your opinion of that holds no relevance and my husband of whom God will send yes will be a church going man! When the time comes God will send him to visit my church. God works in the small better then he ever will in the “mega”! I also stopped the one about my current choices and I said boldly that yes it will work out! For they have no idea of the mountain it was to cross. These folks that said this may have been an “elder” in age, but the wisdom of God supersedes that when His spirit is in something and not the opinions of flesh and folks that have lived their life already!

When peoples opinions or the worlds opinions hold you back from something God has His hand upon its time to take a look at the hand you allow to steer your life.

Have you allowed the worlds view of money rule your every decision? If so, holding on to the energy of money only keeps it away from you! Freely giving of finances is an energy that creates an open flow.

When you allow “peers” to influence your choice of church because of their ideals that is an energy of control that we must be careful of. The energy of free-will is God-given, exercise it. Fast, pray, seek outside council to help you hear from God on what is destined for your life.

Folks may have “somewhat” good intentions in mind, but not every intention is pure in nature. Be wise and seek answers before choosing based on someone else’s life choices. Cause in the end it will be your faith and what of it you choose to operate from that will help you move mountains in life and reach your destiny!

Hope after Brokenness

How to rebound after disappointment?

This week has been one week in this world of a roller coaster. Granted most of my own doing, and its taken a while to regain any kind of footing of stability.

Yesterdays disappointment was so completley devistating that for a moment I wasn’t sure I would stabilize at all. But when the news came through and I expressed it in part to my Life Coach/Pastor she told me be sure to express it how I am feeling so that the emotion of pain and hurt doesn’t get suppressed.

I am surely known for supressing things and not expressing in thr moment and allowing stuff to get burried deep inside to only fester and create infection in my soul that can damage everything.

So, after I got off work and the news had time to sink in as I wasn’t so focused on other things tears and much emotion swelled up. The disappointment flowed, negative flowed, hurt flowed of wanting to know why. When there are no answers in full. I had to express and begin to allow the faith to begin to come in from the spirit.

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil,
Hebrews 6:19 NASB

To renew my mind from the hurt and disappointment I felt I had to pull on hope from the Word of God in a sermon/teaching session she had talked on times and seasons. I gleaned on this message to renew my mind and the spirit of my mind (Romans 12:2 & Eph 4:23). The more I pullef from this message the more it helped turn me back toward being positive and of faith.

If I go unrenewed I can dwell in a place of negative and doubt and that produces nothing good. This is why I am seeing that it is important to renew and get back on track. Hope and faith in God produce the good in life where as I have dwelled in the doubt and negative it too produced things, just not the goodness of God.

Renew in Hope is the only way to recover after disappointment.

Strength of my Heart

When my heart fails…

I never fully realized how much I relied on myself and not God to get through difficult situations. I was very much a self-reliant person and not a faith-filled person.

It wasn’t until coming to Reformation Developmental Center that the teaching presented that I operated so much in my own strength, by my own will, and not having faith and trust in God where the means for Him to operate was evident.

It was this that brought me to a place of awareness that my soul (mind, will and emotions) were leading my life. That life was filled with doubt, fear, anxiety, depression because they lacked faith. Had my spirit been leading my life it would have been full of faith, hope, trust and full of Gods love.

My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the rock and strength of my heart and my portion forever.
PSALM 73:26 AMP

My Pastor Juanita Gibbs often said God was calling me to His word. That has been so much the truth cause in His word alone is where I can find strength when I feel weak, where as seeking it in my own strength only brought me to more stress and feeling faint.

Even in my outside reading none of those resourses could ultimatley provide what my soul desperatley needed and that was truth. Truth comes from the word of God. He is God who cannot lie and backs His every word!

The more and more that I turn toward God through Jesus and His word the more I find my soul anchoring against Him as a solid rock. Taking comfort that my soul cannot do any of the problem solving and submitting to the spirit saying be of faith and trust God to see me through it all. It is in this I find strength for my heart.

A Heart in Full Assurance of Faith

Cleansing the heart…

My old nature can keep me from feeling fully assured in God.

My old nature is my mindsets, stronghold, behaviors, and character that were not touched in my born again nature at salvation can and have at times prevented me from feeling secure in my faith in God.

The old nature resides in my soul(mind, will, and emotions). These components of by being have to go through a transformation to have better more active faith on God. Whereas, at salvation my spirit man was reborn and changed instantly, my soul and body went untouched.

You are a spiritual being that possess a soul that lives in a body.

-Juanita Gibbs, Pastor

Reformation Developmental Center

So, one third of my being was cleansed from old ways. The other two thirds have to be worked on to change. Faith without works is dead.

I have to take to heart that by faith I was saved by the finished works of Jesus on the cross, and thus begin to work on changing me at my soul (mind, will and emotions) and then it will reflect in the body the faith God had set out for humanity to have in Him.

Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Hebrews 10:19‭-‬22 NASB

Drawing near to God is the premise for cleansing my soul. By getting to know Him by His word on a deep level, worshipping God and expressing love for who He is in communion in prayer, thanksgiving, supplication to know whom I belong.

This opens me up to having the full assurance of faith in God. Getting to know Him and His character and love that He has for me and the world. To fully trust that He knows what He is doing in my life and His plans and purposes for me are good.

Its a journey to cleanse the soul and a worthwhile one at that. It has begun to change me on levels that is reflective in my body and character and more to come as I continue in it.

God set before me a wonderful leader of whom I quoted above that He uses to help cultivate and shape my life to be what He said in His word it should be. Without His using of her in my life my old nature would be continuing to run the day and my faith be small.

By faith…

Christ dwells in our hearts by faith!

As Pastor Juanita Gibbs has taught us we are a spiritual being that possess a soul and live in a body. For this blog, I am going to focus on the soul aspect. (1 Thess 5:23)

My soul (mind, will, and emotions) is also referred to as our inner man in scripture. This soulish part of my being needs strengthening by the Lord to transform.

My spirit was reborn when I invited Jesus to come and live within my spirit. However, at salvation my soul wasn’t touched in the rebirth. My inner man of my soul takes work and time to change.

It is in this way that Christ will be able to dwell with in our hearts by the faith that opened the door to invite him in. Its that faith that begins to root us and ground us in His love.

As, he has taken up residency within us as we work on strengthening our inner man to understand and take in the things of the spirit.

My old nature and new reborn nature are contrary to one another and will remain in emnity against each other.

That is a reason the inner man need strength for the battle to overcome the sin nature and turn more toward how God initially wanted man to be on the earth in relationship with God.

God wants that close personal relationship with Him, he wanted that from the beginning until deception entered the Garden and that deep connection was lost until Jesus came to restore it.

To know the depth and length of His love to give His only son for our sins so that we may know the fullness of who God really is, the author and finisher of our faith is the lengths that God will go to, to be rooted and grounded in His love, know His fullness, and strengthen our inner man of our soul.

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:14‭-‬19 NASB

Post inspired from teachings taken in at Reformation Developmental Center by Pastor Juanita Gibbs

Faith: For the Victory Is Won!

Christ died so that Victory could be ours!

We can enter an inner rest in knowing that the victory was made available at the cross. This is part of the finished work on Calvary. When Jesus said “It is finished” he gave us access to victory in many areas because of His sacrifice.

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us].
ROMANS 8:37 AMP

Of course resting inwardly doesn’t mean we don’t do anything. It means that we won’t worry, stress, panic, be afraid of how God will answer us in the battle.

Believe me I am all to familiar with worry, stress, anxiety and panic so much so that it can if I am not careful run on autopilot. It has taken time to become aware of myself, as I have a tendancy to not see myself at times. It takes me stopping and looking at me to see whats goin on to catch it before I have a panic attack, stress induced anxiety, and even depression.

For the time I have come to Reformation Developmental Center that is Pastored by Juanita Gibbs she has taught the importance of being in the word and having a word life. Just last night in our tele-class she referred to James 1:22-23 and other supporting verses about being not only a hearer of the word but a doer of the word.

The more I become a doer and practicer of the word as she brought forth in the lesson we abide in God. She referred to John 15:1-7 that as we abide in Him we can ask anything and it be done. But abiding in Him takes the work to practice walking out his word in my life.

The more I do this from what Pastor has brought the more I tap into the victory made available at the cross. So its a resting work that I have to do to see things change around me. Resting on a sense of being at peace within while working to have my soul submit more to the spirits lead of my life and as she spoke last night this happens little by little.

Lets begin to win little by little by making changes!

Faith In Gods Authority

He is above all things!

Its in coming to a place of realization that what we think, do, say etc are not above the ultimate authority of God by His word.

His word even proclaim that His ways are not our ways and and His thoughts are not like our thoughts. His ways are higher and His thoughts are higher.

God will have the last word for His word is true and just, full of mercy and grace, as well as rebuke and correction to align us to how he sees and how we should live in accordance to that ultimate truth.

Our strong self will, logic and emotions from our soul like to get in the way and make its own stand, but that stand is short lived because its mostly done in our own strength and our strength has limits.

Whereas, if we do it Gods way and pull on His strength, lean on His ways and thoughts we can succeed in the ways of God. For we are putting Him, His word above our way. Seeking His will over our own is what He likes for us to choose.

Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
Romans 13:1 NASB

This also comes in handy as God places leadership in our lives also. People such as Pastors are chosen by God given an authority by His word to help equip and prepare us. For the kingdom of God has an established governing pattern.

God uses our leaders in our life to reinforce not only the validity but the power and might of His word. That is used in accordance to the set way that we can be prosperous in spirit, soul and body.

It is also taking Him at Word that we trust and rely on His power to see us through, perform miracles and bless us. His word has infinite power and wisdom to help us through all of life.

May we lean not to our own understanding and trust in the Lord with all might. For it is He and through His word that we can sustain in this life.

Faith in the Word of God Comforts!

His word is His voice!

Pastor Juanita Gibbs has told me to trust the voice of God through his written word. As a person who has trust issues that has been a work. I am getting better about it, but I am not fully there in it.

The more I begin to lean not on my own understanding and take the comfort that comes from His written word it can remedy the negative, depressive, doubtful, fearful stuff that comes from within my soul to bring deliverance and healing.

The word of God is a sword Pastor proclaims from Hebrews 4:12 and she continues that this is the only sword that can touch the soul(mind, will, and emotions). This sword has come to cut out all that brings anxiety and worry and all the other stuff that is not of God to align me with truth from His word.

Then your maidservant said, ‘Please let the word of my Lord the king be comforting, for as the angel of God, so is my Lord the king to discern good and evil. And may the Lord your God be with you.'” 2 Samuel 14:17 NASB

For so long before coming to the place I am now at Reformation Developmental Center I would pray God just one word from you can make all the difference. I was seeking comfort from a word from the Lord when He has already provided me countless words of comfort through the Bible.

Its like she told us last night in Bible study to want to see change in your life plant the word and plant it deep. I have to take the word and keep it in my thoughts hold them there.

Even today I have battled some contrary stuff by attacking it with the word. This is my battleground in my mind. In time I will be victorious in this and God can use this to get my spirit, soul and body in alignment and the God kind of manifestations will follow.

I will and am very determined to allow the Word of God to bring comfort to my soul and calm it, as well as, heal and deliver me from things that are not based on truth of the Word.

Faith Changes You

Allow faith to bring changes into your life!

Pastor Juanita Gibbs teaches us about the power of the word of God. The power on the word of God is that of a sword found in Hebrews 4:12. It is sharper than any two-edged sword dividing soul and spirit.

She said in a sermon recently that:

“this sword is the only sword that can touch the soul” -Juanita Gibbs

It is me taking that sword in faith that removes that which is not of God within my soul to bring alignment into my life. God in his power, wisdom, authority can bring about change to a life when the life has surrendered to such changes.

Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you mightily, and you shall prophesy with them and be changed into another man. It shall be when these signs come to you, do for yourself what the occasion

requires, for God is with you.
1 Samuel 10:6‭-‬7 NASB

At salvation the spirit of God came into my human spirit and I was then reborn. But, my soul went untouched at salvation.

My soul of my mind, will and emotion has had to go through a journey and continue on that journey to be changed like my spirit was at rebirth.

The soul changes takes more time to go through that the spirits.

The process of having faith to change me by the might of the word, the anointing on my leaders and my submission of my will to the Lords will for my life.

Will you allow faith to change you?

Steafast Confession 🗣

Life and Death are in the tongue!

(Blog inspired by Pastor Juanita Gibbs Wednesday Night Teleclass)

I dove into her teaching of Wednesday night it was so very powerful. I am glad I got to record it so I can keep renewed in that message. She spoke on the word of God being seeds.

Gods word is supreme, it has great power, and cannot end. The more we use His word in our daily language how much more can we shift our life around.

She teaches us about what we think and what we say reveals our heart and those things make the world we live in. She often quotes the change your mind change your life in relation to this.

When we shift our mind and let it infiltrate our heart, from the abundance of the heart the mouth will speak thus creating newness.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;
Hebrews 10:23 NASB

The more I begin to confess the word of God as my confession of hope(faith) it can implant into my soul from what my spirit already houses. It takes time and much practice. She says:

Reptition is the mother of success!

-Juanita Gibbs

Its very true the more and more you do somthing it begins to change everything. The more I consciously discard negativity and choose positivity the choices to choose good words of life begin to become more aware of the negative death talk words.

This is pulling on those promise seeds of God and keeping them watered and in son light to grow in good soil as it is renewed in good things over the old bad that the soil use to contain.

Lets hold fast to a new confession. The confession of faith(hope).
