Faith Seeks Councel Pt 1

To have a successful faith we must learn of those who are advanced in the faith!

Our choices determine whether we rise or if we fall. Its the same with with choosing to or not to exercise our faith. Part of exercising our faith I believe inpart comes from attaining wisdom.

We attend church, bible studies, conferences, and things related to be taught in part things of the word we are to then leave those places with and begin to apply them into our life. Or has it been that we attend those things out of duty, with no continued meditation and no practicing out what you took in?

I know I did that for years. I would go and listen, take notes and say inwardly like “hey God I showed up, remember this”. How very proud and puffed up that was of me. When the reason He drew me to chase and persue Him was cause He was calling me into a deeper relationship with Him.

Where there is no guidance the people fall, But in abundance of counselors there is victory.
Proverbs 11:14 NASB

Needless to say I needed some spiritual councel to help me in my soul, as well as, to help get me in alignment with faith.

Thanks be to God he had blessed my life with a councelor in my life. When I crossed over to attending Reformation Developmental Center that is Pastored by Juanita Gibbs.

She has helped by councel pull me into alignmwnt with Gods word and His will and purpose for my life. It is by that councel victories are happening in my life.

This I once felt defeated in, things that I never thought God would come through and help me in He has in miraculous ways. For that I am eternally greatful for her councel of me.

Faith Sings Joyfully!

When the Victory Is Won We Sing Praises!

But, what about when the victory has yet to show forth? We still should sing of praise for the Lord is good and His mercies endure forever.

Hebrews 11:1 says faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things unseen. We all have things that are unseen but by faith we are awaiting them to be won by our faith prayers.

When God answers a prayer we have another right behind it to await Him to come through for. So, why not show our love for Him, our need of Him and worship of Him in joyful singing of just how good he is to us.

Yes, I know all too well that this can be difficult to do. I have been someone who over focused on every bad thing that went wrong, gone wrong or will go wrong. It has taken a woman of God in my Pastor Juanita Gibbs to show me that focusing on the bad has perpetuated the negativity in me.

By slowly turning and pulling on the fruit of the spirit of Joy as she has instructed me to look into and study. As well as, tapping into praise and thanksgiving to help negate the high doses of negativity my soul houses.

We will sing for joy over your victory, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions. Psalms 20:5 NASB

Since as I have looked at all this week the victory is already won no matter if what I am praying for has manifested or not. I have to be joyful and give thanks for what was already done to grow in trust and dependancy on the Lord.

By doing so, it has begun to help I will admit. Granted some days are better than others, but its a work and journey I have to do in order to turn things more around in my life from negative to positive.

It will be my work to maintain, but with the tools Pastor has given us at Reformation Developmental Center on days that it is harder I can pull from those resources to help cast my cares, renew my mind and re-enter joy and thankgiving to God for who He is.

May we allow faith to give us a song for victory is provided!

Faith: For the Victory Is Won!

Christ died so that Victory could be ours!

We can enter an inner rest in knowing that the victory was made available at the cross. This is part of the finished work on Calvary. When Jesus said “It is finished” he gave us access to victory in many areas because of His sacrifice.

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us].

Of course resting inwardly doesn’t mean we don’t do anything. It means that we won’t worry, stress, panic, be afraid of how God will answer us in the battle.

Believe me I am all to familiar with worry, stress, anxiety and panic so much so that it can if I am not careful run on autopilot. It has taken time to become aware of myself, as I have a tendancy to not see myself at times. It takes me stopping and looking at me to see whats goin on to catch it before I have a panic attack, stress induced anxiety, and even depression.

For the time I have come to Reformation Developmental Center that is Pastored by Juanita Gibbs she has taught the importance of being in the word and having a word life. Just last night in our tele-class she referred to James 1:22-23 and other supporting verses about being not only a hearer of the word but a doer of the word.

The more I become a doer and practicer of the word as she brought forth in the lesson we abide in God. She referred to John 15:1-7 that as we abide in Him we can ask anything and it be done. But abiding in Him takes the work to practice walking out his word in my life.

The more I do this from what Pastor has brought the more I tap into the victory made available at the cross. So its a resting work that I have to do to see things change around me. Resting on a sense of being at peace within while working to have my soul submit more to the spirits lead of my life and as she spoke last night this happens little by little.

Lets begin to win little by little by making changes!

Faith Prepared For Victory!

To win we must prepare!

We have a prefetermined victory available to us. But, we must still prepare for the battle. There is a work that has to be done on our part if we are going to walk in that victory.

The horse is prepared for the day of battle, But deliverance and victory belong to the Lord .

How have wars and battles in the natural been won? People were trained to fight, they were trained to know tactics and use instinct, etc.

We have to do the same thing in spiritual battles when we are up against a trial that may seem impossible, but your hearing and hearing if the word has trained you to not see impossible. But, that all things are possible with God.

Our study of the word gives us tactics and strategy if how to fight. Like prayer, worship, belief in what we study, and being aware of our adversary and so much more the word of God contains.

The more in tune we are to His word and what it says by revelation of how God will speak to us in our individual circumstances. We can then use those strategies to walk in the victory that is made available.

This is how God is glorified when we lean on Him and allow Him to help us win battles that are too much for us in the natural and we need a supernatural answer. That is the answer that only God can provide.

There is a scripture that says ” The battle is the Lords” we must stand in the faith and allow Him to fight in ways we cannot, but we so our trust and dependancy on that by standing firm in the faith and using our spiritual weapons as best we have been trained in.

The more we prepare for the battle the less we will be tossed in our faith. We can stand firm knowing who is at our side and knowing the victory is won as long as we trust God in the midst of it.
